Sign Up for Swim Team Text Messages through Twitter!

Now there is a less invasive way to receive up to the second updates on our team through texts. We now will use Twitter to relay messages quickly to the team.  The advantages of using Twitter is that 1) you don't need to open an account to receive messages from us 2) you don't need a smart phone to use it, and 3) it is a one way communication blast from the coaches to the team. 

We encourage all parents, swimmers and divers to sign up for our tweets.

Here's how to follow us:

1) On your cell phone, text "follow WRSwim" (no quotes) to 40404.  

2) You will receive a confirmation message (a tweet) back from Twitter that you are now following WRSwim (West Ranch Swim).  You may also receive tweets that are older ones, but that is a one time thing on sign up.

If you have a smart phone and not a dumb phone, you can download the Twitter App for free and start to follow the team @WRSwim. In order to get text message updates through the App, you will have to set your Twitter App to alert you every time WestRanchXC tweets you.

Of course you can also recieve messages from us by using your computer and signing on Twitter.  Our website will have all relevant news but texting will provide real time updates on changes.
